Balibuch

Dictionary entry

Balibuch — To give every appearance of working tirelessly and diligently, while ensuring that nothing of consequence actually moves forward.

Verb · Crestignacian neologism.

Definition: To give every appearance of working tirelessly and diligently, while ensuring that nothing of consequence actually moves forward.

Example:

“You balibuched tirelessly to preserve, for which we are most grateful, the perfect stability of all progress.”

From the Annals:

Balibuching does not necessarily mean doing nothing. A dedicated balibucher may open documents, answer emails, schedule meetings and move files around, all while maintaining a remarkably stable outcome.

The practice is particularly compatible with a high Semantic Immobility Coefficient (SIC).

English forms: to balibuch (verb); balibuching (activity); a balibucher (person); balibuched (past tense).

Additional example:

“The AI has been balibuching for twenty minutes.”
