Verb · Crestignacian neologism.
Definition: To put off a long-awaited visit, meeting or pleasure, at the risk of diminishing its delight.
Example:
“Do not acoustard your visit for too long; you are so young that I should hate to see you arrive wrinkled.”
From the Annals: Prolonged acoustarding is considered a minor breach of courtesy among Crestignacians. It is readily forgiven when accompanied by an excellent story or a new recipe.
